The Bharat IP Yatra is a transformative initiative by the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) under the MSME Innovative Scheme, designed to spread awareness about Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) among MSMEs, start-ups, prospective entrepreneurs. With a mission to foster innovation and protect intellectual assets, the Bharat IP Yatra is shaping a future where every idea has the opportunity to thrive.
Under the aegis of the National IP Outreach Mission of the Ministry of MSME, the 2024 Edition of Bharat IP Yatra has voyaged across cities like Varanasi, Bhopal, Nashik, Mumbai, Kochi, and Gurgaon, reaching & inspiring 3500+ MSMEs, while also creating an ecosystem for their creative intellectual endeavors. The initiative received an overwhelming response, reinforcing the importance of IPRs in empowering MSMEs and driving innovation in India.
The 2025 Edition of Bharat IP Yatra is slated to engage at Agra, Panipat, Haridwar, Vadodara, Thane, Bangalore, and Goa. The initiative will continue to aim at clearing the base concept of IPRs for MSMEs, highlight their importance, and provide practical guidance on how entrepreneurs can protect their innovations and unlock its true potential by creating brands.
