  Ms. Sangita Palshikar (SKP Bearing Industry) How she became the name to reckon with
  Sangita Shrinand Palshikar is a Business Woman and an entrepreneur who founded SKP Bearing Industries to manufacture a needle roller, cylindrical roller and special purpose pins. Sangita was born in a Maharashtrian middle class family in Pune. She was the only daughter and hence her father would encourage her to take part in multifarious activities. That is the reason that in addition to her entrepreneurial achievements she is also a good badminton and cricket player having represented her college in various tournaments.   Sangita ventured into the business in the year 1992 after her family moved to Wadhwan, Surendranagar. She could see that this particular region had a lot of potential as it had highly accomplished mechanical skilled workers in abundance. This vision led Sangita to start SKP Bearing Industries. As this has always been a male dominated industry, Sangita had her fair share of resistence from her peers, however she also proved her acumen by sheer hard work and huge sense of commitment. Today SKP Bearing Industries has grown by leaps and bounds. Sangita believes in taking care of the Eco-system and it is reflected the way their company has carried out the mission of water re-circulation and water harvesting. In fact company was privileged to exhibit their Zero Carbon footage which was appreciated by all.
