The Secrets of Success for Small & Medium Business - Season II" successfully hosted its eleventh event along with local trade associations in Indore on 15th Nov'13 at Sayaji Hotel under the Flagship India SME Forum in association with Reliance commercial Capital ,Bharti Airtel and Bank of India
The Forum was inaugurated by Dr Mandloi ,Director,MSME-DI,Indore ,Mr Hemant Mehtani,President,Association of Industries Madhya Pradesh (AIMP) Ms Sushma Morthania Director General India Sme Forum and Mr Vinod Kumar ,Country Head SDRC &Honorary VP,India Sme Forum
Inaugurating the forum MSME Development Institute Indore Director DS Mandloi lauded the initiatives of SME Forum and said There is a need for such approach in a big way to help the SME's overcome bottlenecks and seek learn and think about their business in a comprehensive way
Mr Ankit Patidar -Director Shakti Pumps - shared his success story and growth experiences Patidar said The company is the first in Indore to rope in Mr Amitabh Bachchan as the Brand Ambassador of his company so one needs to be very focused and set such enterprising goals to reach to such an desirable stature in business
Puneet Gupta- Director Kach Motors, and Anup Aggarwal director Aggarwal Papad also shared relevant examples and case studies to make SME's understand how they can also establish themselves as successful enterprenures in their line of businesses
In the interactive session the SME's raised their concerns on the problems faced to seek finance or rating processes and schemes of the state government which they are not able to access
Mr Vinod Kumar , Country Head SDRC &Honorary VP, India Sme Forum -moderated the sessions and also presented a case study on the need for all growing SMEs to create goal posts, a vision for long term and short term and the importance of nurturing brands.
Ms Sushma Morthania Director General India SME Forum shared her perspective on the role of SME's in India and the need to establish more and more SME'S and promote and their objectives in a big way. She also mentioned Apart from Mumbai and Delhi more chapters will be commenced in developing towns like Indore,Raipur Nagpur and other cities by January 2014 .
The session was the Eleventh event under the secrets of Success series and was successfully attended by around 165 SMEs from Indore and its surrounding clusters.
